German Chocolate Cake Frosting

Because it’s my birthday and this is the best frosting ever. I am going to share it with you. Don’t you feel lucky?

German Chocolate Cake Frosting

From My older sister

Makes 2 2/3C. Double for taste tests  Oh who are we kidding here just eat it plain.

Ingredients:

1/2C butter

3 egg yolks slightly beaten

 1 can (14OZ) Sweetened condenced milk

1 C chopped nuts (I like pecans)

 1 1/3 C coconut

1 t vanilla

Place sweetened condensed milk butter, and egg yolks in sauce pan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thick and bubbly. Remove from heat stir in vanilla, coconut, and Pecans.
